Fort Hood Dolphins - Seeking Assistant Coach
Position:
Fort Hood Dolphins, located on Fort Hood, TX is seeking qualified applicants to serve in the position of part-time Assistant Coach. This position will work with novice, beginner and intermediate swimmers of all ages and may also assist with the coaching of other training groups as well. This position will report directly to the Head Coach.

Background:
Fort Hood Dolphins utilizes the facilities of Abrams Gym and Comanche Swim Center on Fort Hood, Abrams Gym is an 8-lane, 25-MTR competition pool, ranging in depth from 4 to 12 feet, Comanche Pool is a 50 MTR competition pool. The team has a membership of approximately 70 swimmers, ranging in age from 6-18+ and ranging in ability from novice to state level. Fort Hood Dolphins is a member of South Texas Swimming and participates in competitions around the state.

The mission of FORT HOOD DOLPHINS is to serve our community by providing the opportunity for swimmers of all ages to reach their highest personal potential in swimming and also in life. Duties:
Establish and maintain relationships and open communications with swimmers and parents. Help organize and manage daily practices based on practice group goals and seasonal training plan. This must be done in a direction that supports the coaching philosophy and direction of the team as set forward by the Head Coach and Board. Attend and coach on-deck at swim-meets. Meet with the Head Coach to outline practice sessions and to discuss problems and/or opportunities. These meetings should also ensure that the management of the program remains united with one direction. Create a positive, team oriented environment where athletes learn the values of perseverance, sportsmanship, goal setting and hard work. All coaches are energetic and supporters of the sport of swimming and the Fort Hood Dolphins program.

Qualifications:
USA Swimming Coaches Certification is required, or candidate must be willing to complete all requirements for certification (CPR, First Aid, Coaches Safety Training, USA Swimming background check, etc.) prior to starting with the team. Current CPR and First Aid certification is required for job offer, online certifications are not acceptable. Candidate must possess strong communication skills, integrity, a passion for the sport and for helping swimmers maximize their potential. An excellent candidate will also have a college degree, competitive swimming experience, and swim coaching experience. Salary is based on experience. Additional employment opportunities with the swim center, etc… are a possibility.

Cedar Parking - Seeking Assistant Coach
Position: Cedar Park Swimming (CPS) a USA Swimming Club, located in Cedar Park, Tx. is seeking qualified applicants to serve in the position of part time Assistant Coach. This position will work with novice, beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmers of all ages. This position will report directly to the Head Coach.

Background: Cedar Park Swimming swims out of the Elizabeth Milburn Pool located across from both the Cedar Park Middle School and Cedar Park High School. The facilities include an eight lane, 25 meter heated competition pool with plenty of deck space for effective dry land use. The team has a membership of approximately 160 swimmers, ranging in age from 6-18+ and ranging in ability from novice, TAGS, and Junior National swimmers. Cedar Park Swimming is a member of South Texas Swimming and participates in competitions around the State and Nation.

Mission and Vision: Cedar Park Swimming's mission is to produce lifelong swimmers who will compete in Age Group, High School, College and National level meets. Swim Belton needs assistant coach

Position: Swim Belton (SB), located in Belton, TX is seeking qualified applicants to serve in the position of part-time Assistant Coach. This position will work with novice, beginner and intermediate swimmers of all ages and may also assist with the coaching of other training groups as well. This position will report directly to the Head Coach.

Background: Swim Belton utilizes the facilities of the Roy and Jean Potts Belton Swim Center on the campus of Belton High School. The 5-year old facility includes 2 swimming pools, one being an 8-lane, 25-yard competition pool, ranging in depth from 5 to 6 feet, as well as a 3-lane, 25-yard pool, ranging in depth from 3'6" to 4'9". The team has a membership of approximately 200 swimmers, ranging in age from 6-18+ and ranging in ability from novice to state level. Swim Belton is a member of South Texas Swimming and participates in competitions around the state.

Great Hills Aquatics RUSH is seeking Assistant Head Swim Coach
Great Hills Aquatics RUSH is seeking Assistant Head Swim Coach for its year-round competitive swim team and some Summer League and Private Lessons as extra. RUSH is a non profit team swimming in South Texas who is registered with USA Swimming in Austin Texas.

Job Expectations:
Now until May - 4 to 6 practices per week in the evening Monday - Friday primarily after 3:30 PM and with some weekend meet commitments. May until end of August - 4 to6 practices per week in the early morning, potential Summer League coaching, privates swim lessons and Masters as extra. The coaches we are looking for are energetic, committed to excellence, always looking to learn and improve and passionate about swimming and teaching. The Assistant Head Coach will report to the Head Coach and will be expected to coach their assigned group on a daily basis, be able to coach novice to Senior levels if called upon, assist in dryland, and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Current CPR, First Aid, and Safety Training for Swimming Coaches certifications and ASCA certification are required. Passing the USA Swimming background check and Child Protection course, as well as a Texas background check and drug screen is mandatory. Prior coaching experience and competitive swimming experience is preferred, but not required.
