The Global Drug Reference Online (Global DRO) provides athletes and support personnel with information about the prohibited status of specific medications based on the current World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has published the 2026 Prohibited List. This list goes into force on January 1, 2026. Major modifications for 2026 can be found here.
Monitoring Program for 2026 information: The 2026 Monitoring Program, includes substances that are not on the List, but that WADA wishes to monitor in order to detect potential patterns of misuse in sport.
It is important to check GlobalDRO.com and search by brand name or ingredients for the most up to date anti-doping status information. This should be done for any substance you put in your body via eyes, ears, nose, mouth, or skin (prescription or over the counter).
TrueSport provides educational tools to equip young athletes with the resources to build life skills and core values for success on and off the field. This site includes valuable resources for coaches, parents, and athletes about building character, sportsmanship, and clean and healthy performance.
USADA Supplement Guide for Reducing Supplement Risk: This booklet is designed to help athletes decide if the potential benefits of dietary supplements outweigh those risks, and if so, how they can better choose a low-risk product.

USADA Nutrition Guide: This nutrition guide provides general guidelines to help optimize dietary intake for sports competitors. Fueling requirements can vary depending upon an individual’s energy expenditure, metabolism, state of health, sport, etc.

- Foreign Invitation to Athletes and Teams
- This form is to be completed and submitted when inviting foreign athletes or teams to participate in a USA Swimming meet. It ensures proper documentation and compliance with relevant rules and regulations governing international participation. Submitting this form in advance is mandatory to facilitate smooth coordination and approvals for foreign participants. This includes all “open border” countries, Canada, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, etc.
- Notification of USA Swimming Membership
- This form is a required document for athletes who wish to train, compete, or join a USA Swimming club. This form ensures that all relevant information about the foreign athlete is collected and that their membership/participation complies with USA Swimming regulations and international eligibility rules.
- Release USA Swimming Member to Join Foreign Federation
- This is a formal process that allows a registered USA Swimming member to transfer their competitive swimming affiliation from USA Swimming to a foreign swimming federation. This process is required when an athlete plans to represent a country other than the United States in international competitions or register under a foreign national swimming body.
- Foreign Travel Permit
- This formal authorization is required for USA Swimming athletes who plan to compete in a swim meet outside the United States. This permission ensures that the athlete is recognized as a current member in good standing with USA Swimming and complies with all eligibility and competition regulations. Times achieved at foreign meets will be uploaded to SWIMS if the individual was a member at the time of the swims.
- Foreign Athlete 30-day Try-Out Permission Form
- This form is to be completed and submitted by the LSC registration chair or foreign member requesting permission to train in the U.S. either with a USA Swimming Club member or college/university team. Compliance with USA Swimming regulations is essential, ensuring the athlete's stay aligns with the stated purpose (training only) and does not extend beyond the approved period.
