The entry deadline for the South Texas Swimming B Champs North meet is Monday, January 12, at noon. The meet is January 17-18 at the Round Rock Aquatics Center. Meet info is here.

As a reminder, the House of Delegates approved several general changes to the 2026 meets:

  • There is only ONE entry deadline for meets, and this is at noon on the Monday prior to the meet. Entries received after the entry deadline may be pre-entered in the meet at the discretion of the Entries Chair, but will be considered to be deck entries for the purposes of seeding and meet entry fees.
  • Please make sure all swimmers have registered and/or renewed for 2026 before entering them in the meet. In addition, Flex athletes must upgrade to Premium to be eligible to compete.
  • Athletes must have one provable B time to enter the meet.
  • Athletes may enter up to two bonus events with provable slower than B times. BB and faster times, coach-entered times, converted times, and NTs are not allowed.
  • All individual and bonus events must have been achieved since 9/1/24.
  • An athlete may enter up to four individual events per day plus one relay event and up to seven individual events total, including any bonus and time trial events (if offered).
  • Teams may enter only one relay per relay event.
  • The 15-18 age group has been combined and will compete as combined. The qualifying time is the 15-16 time for all athletes ages 15-18.
  • Times earned at Block Party meets and observed (high school) meets are valid for entry, as long as they are provable in SWIMS.
  • Athletes with disabilities may enter using the P1, P2, or P3 parallel time standards (posted here). The coach should submit an accommodations form for any athletes entered under the parallel time standards (even if the athlete requires no accommodations, the coach should submit a form indicating such). The form should also be submitted for any other athletes needing accommodations.
  • For meets split into North and South zones, all members of a club must compete in the assigned meet. All teams and all locations of teams will be restricted to entry for the zoned meet.

Relay-only swimmers are now allowed in LSC championship meets under a specific set of circumstances:

  • Three of the four relay swimmers in each relay event must be entered in at least one individual qualifying event.
  • Teams may include ONE relay-only swimmer in each gender/age group ONLY when no fourth swimmer is already entered in at least one individual event in the session for the relay event.
  • Relay-only swimmers will not be eligible to compete in individual events at the meet.
  • There are no time standards for relay events or for swimmers participating on relay teams.
  • Swimmers may not “age up” for relays and may only compete in the correct age group for the event.
  • As stated above, teams may enter only one relay per relay event at B Champs.
